Bisha Airport is located in the south east of the city of Bisha, the 25 years old airport needed renovation and expansion so that it can accommodate 400 passengers at peak time taking into consideration continuation of airport use during construction. The main elements include:
- Reconstruction of the runway and taxiways pavement
- Replacement of AFL
- Upgrading navigation equipment
- Upgrading storm drainage system
- Remove obstacles
- Expansion of Terminal Building around the existing one
- Expansion of fire rescue building
- New administration building & New cargo building
- Expansion and upgrading of VIP building
- New 13.8 KV switchgear room and Generators
- New mechanical and electrical systems
- New water treatment plant and new sewage treatment plant.
