The Upgrading of 15km of the Dukhan Highway from the existing two lanes to a four lane dual carriageway included the construction of three new interchanges and service roads for both Eastbound and Westbound carriageways. The project was also located in a particularly sensitive area of Qatar with the main carriageway passing both the Emiri Guard Headquarters and the Emir's Al-Wajbah Palace.
