Primary highway connecting Thagret Asfour with the existing bridge on Zarqa River, forming a part of Irbid-Amman main highway. The project is an 18 km 4-lane divided highway, with inner and outer shoulders, of 22.8 m width; and involved the following components: Five bridges; 70 m twin tunnels accommodating two-lane carriageways each.
