Kuwaiti Embassy Compound

The project consists of the design of the Kuwait Embassy Compound in Lebanon. ACE has won the competition for the Concept Design of the project which consists of the Embassy Building, Ambassador's Residence and the Diplomatic Corps Compound encompassing 7 villas.

The project is located on three plots of land in Baabda.

The design is based on a traditional gulf Architecture as well as a recurrent fortress theme. The Embassy Building is disconnected from the road by a stone wall with small apertures ""Archers Windows"" which emphasize the fortress theme.

It has a courtyard that leads to a ""diwaniyah"", which conceal the Ambassador's private entrance.
