The airport located at 25Km south east of Al-Ula city on the Madinah - Al Ula highway. The airport area is 2400 Hectare (24 Million square meter) and the used area is 13750000 m2, the airport is located in a hilly area interspersed with valleys and flat stretches of land sloping in a southwest direction and bonded by hillocks on the north and north east side. Scope of the works: is to construct and maintain the Prince Abdulmajeed Bin Abdulaziz airport at Al Ula, including the terminal building with a capacity of 190 passenger/hour and the airport expected to serve about 100000 persons, also, serve the tourism traffic for the historic and archeological site of Madain Saleh, the expected traffic of passenger at the airport is 57000 passenger/year & the expected aircraft movement is 1300 flight/year, the airport serve the surrounding area of 250Km radius and the scope of work include the civil works, architectural, electrical, mechanical, fire fighting system, landscaping & hardscaping works and other incidental.
