The SWRO Plant is located in Umm Bab area at sea side. The plant area is 70 m x 200m (14000 m2) It consists of the c onstruction of steel framed structure housing the overhanging movable cranes, RO plant (installation of all the equipment, c hemical dosing tanks, filters, RO vessels & membrane, pumps i ntended to be used in the RO process), administrative office building, intake & discharge pipeline into the sea, product water t ank capacity 2500m3, 4 nos. 800KVA diesel generators, plant & equipment control room, chemical storage area, stores, pump r ooms, diesel tank, internal roads, sewerage networks, lighting posts, external fence etc. Additionally of 24Km 14” Dia. HDPE pipeline for the supply of product water from SWRO plant to Al K halij Cement Company. Pipeline crossed (QP gas pipes, oil pi pes, utilities, electrical LV & HV lines, temporary roads and hi ghways. The horizontal directional drilling methodology was us ed for pipeline route crossing roads and utilities.
