The Project comprises of upgrading the pavement of 7 regional and domestic airports in Saudi Arabia namely:
In Najran and Arar, the existing pavement for the runway and taxiway needed total reconstruction including replacement of granular base and asphaltic courses, in the other airports the upgrading of the pavement in the runways and taxiways included milling and adding new thicknesses of asphaltic pavement.
