With the acquisition of Sir Frederick Snow Ltd. (SFSP), a London-based consultancy engineering business founded in 1943, ACE increased its global reach in 1989. Being a division of ACE Holding, SFSP is well-known worldwide for its proficiency in the field of road and highways consulting engineering. It has been instrumental in the growth and consolidation of ACE's activities throughout Europe and Central Asia. The Group's efforts to diversify its offerings were made easier by SFSP.

In 2003, ACE expanded its capabilities even further by acquiring International Management and Engineering Group Ltd. (IMEG), a 1964-founded company, through SFSP. With a focus on feasibility studies, design, construction supervision, commissioning, and training, IMEG is an expert in projects for the oil and gas industry.
